Tequila sunrise Recipe
Learn how to make a vibrant, colourful cocktail with layers of tequila, orange juice, and grenadine that capture the beauty of a sunrise.

INGREDIENTS
2 oz tequila
4 oz orange juice
0.5 oz grenadine syrup or The Shirley syrup*
Ice
Orange slice and cherry for garnish
*Both syrups give you a delicious sunrise cocktail taste. If you’re looking for the traditional red color, then The Shirley is recommended. Or try out both and let us know your favourite.
METHOD
1. Pour
Fill a glass with ice. Add tequila and orange juice, and stir gently.
2. Layer
Slowly pour the grenadine or The Shirley syrup over the back of a spoon so it sinks and creates a layered sunrise effect.
3. Garnish
Garnish with an orange slice and cherry. Serve immediately.
MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL!
Leave out the tequila for a Sunrise Mocktail. We recommend using 6 oz orange juice, 0.5 oz grenadine/The Shirley syrup, and a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy twist. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry for the perfect finishing touch.
