INGREDIENTS
1.5 oz dark rum
2 oz pineapple juice
0.5 oz The Shirley or grenadine syrup (personal preference)
0.5 oz lime juice
2 oz club soda, optional
Ice
Orange, cherry, or pineapple for garnish
METHOD
1. STIR
Fill a cocktail glass with ice. Add the rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, and The Shirley syrup. Stir gently to combine.
2. TOP
Pour soda water over the mixture and give it a light stir.
3. Garnish
Garnish with a seasonal fruit wedge or wheel for a zesty finish.

Skip the vodka for a Planter’s Punch Mocktail. Combine 3 oz pineapple juice, 0.5 oz The Shirley, 0.5 oz lime juice, and about 2 oz club soda water for a brighter, alcohol-free version. Garnish with an orange or pineapple wedge for a crisp and refreshing sip.
