Rum Runner Recipe

Fruity, tropical, and packed with flavor, the Rum Runner is a cocktail that brings the beach to your glass. With a combination of light and dark rum, banana liqueur, pineapple juice, and either a splash of Bartender’s Daughter Grenadine Syrup or The Shirley, this drink is as bold as it is refreshing. (Both are delicious—let us know your favourite!)

ServES 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz (30 ml) light rum

  • 1 oz (30 ml) dark rum

  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) banana liqueur

  • 1 oz (30 ml) pineapple juice

  • A splash of Bartender’s Daughter Grenadine Syrup or The Shirley

  • Pineapple wedge & cherry for garnish

METHOD

1. shake

Combine light rum, dark rum, banana liqueur, pineapple juice, and your choice of Grenadine Syrup or The Shirley in a shaker with ice. Shake well.

2. strain

Strain into a tall glass or hurricane glass filled with crushed ice.

3. Garnish

Add a pineapple wedge and cherry for a vibrant tropical finish.
