Bright, refreshing, and effortlessly elegant. The Ruby Tonic combines tangy citrus, a touch of sweetness, and a sparkling tonic fizz.

ServES 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz (30 ml) vodka

  • 1 oz (30 ml) The Shirley Syrup

  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) lemon juice

  • 2 oz (60 ml) tonic water

  • Ice

  • Lemon or lime wedge for garnish

METHOD

1. STIR

Fill a highball or rocks glass with ice. Add the vodka, lemon juice, and The Shirley syrup. Stir gently to combine.

2. TOP

Pour tonic water over the mixture and give it a light stir.

3. Garnish

Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge or wheel for a zesty, polished finish.

MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL!

Skip the vodka for a Ruby Tonic Mocktail. Combine 1 oz of The Shirley syrup, 0.5 oz lemon juice, and about 3 oz tonic water for a brighter, alcohol-free version. Garnish with a lemon wedge for a crisp and refreshing sip.
