Pink Lady Recipe

Delicate in appearance but bold in flavor, the Pink Lady is a timeless cocktail with a silky texture and vibrant tartness. Gin and apple brandy provide a rich foundation, while Bartender’s Daughter Shirley Syrup (or our Grenadine, it won’t be as pink but just as tasty) adds a hint of fruitiness and a soft blush hue. Topped with a frothy egg white, it’s a classic that exudes vintage charm.

ServES 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 oz (45 ml) gin

  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) apple brandy

  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) Bartender’s Daughter Shirley Syrup

  • 1 egg white

  • Lemon twist for garnish

METHOD

1. Dry Shake

Shake all ingredients without ice to emulsify the egg white.

2. Shake Again

Add ice and shake vigorously.

3. Strain

Pour into a chilled coupe glass.

4. Garnish

Add a lemon twist.

Make it a mocktail!

Replace gin and apple brandy with 2 oz (60 ml) apple juice. Shake with Shirley Syrup (or Grenadine) and egg white for a foamy, alcohol-free treat.
