Painkiller Recipe

Transport yourself to island vibes with this creamy, rum-forward classic. The Painkiller blends dark rum, pineapple, coconut, and a hint of orange, topped with nutmeg for the perfect balance of flavors.

ServES 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz (60 ml) dark rum

  • 4 oz (120 ml) pineapple juice

  • 1 oz (30 ml) orange juice

  • 1 oz (30 ml) Bartender’s Daughter Cream of Coconut

  • Grated nutmeg for garnish

METHOD

1. shake

Combine rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, and cream of coconut in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well.

2. strain

Pour into a tall glass filled with crushed ice.

3. Garnish

Sprinkle grated nutmeg on top for a warm, spicy aroma.

MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL!

Skip the rum for a Virgin Painkiller. Combine 4 oz (120 ml) pineapple juice, 1 oz (30 ml) orange juice, and 1 oz (30 ml) Bartender’s Daughter Cream of Coconut in a shaker with ice. Shake well and serve over crushed ice. Top with nutmeg for the perfect alcohol-free escape.
