2 Recipes in 1 - vodka + Prosecco
A refined take on the classic jello shot, these heart-shaped jellies blend vibrant fruit flavors with a touch of alcohol for a fun and sophisticated treat. The vodka version delivers a bold kick, while the Prosecco variation adds a light, bubbly twist, making them perfect for parties and celebrations.
ServES 1
INGREDIENTS
60ml (1/4 cup) Bartender’s Daughter Shirley Syrup
60ml (1/4 cup) vodka or Prosecco (vodka for a bold kick, Prosecco for a light, bubbly feel)
11ml (3/4 tbsp) lemon juice (to balance the flavors)
3g (1 tbsp) unflavored gelatin (for a smooth, structured texture)
Just double recipe depending on size of ice/heart mold tray.
METHOD
1. Combine liquids
In a small saucepan, mix Shirley syrup, vodka (or Prosecco), and lemon juice.
2. Bloom the gelatin
Sprinkle 1 tbsp gelatin over the liquid and let sit for 5 minutes to absorb
3. Dissolve the gelatin
Heat over low heat, stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes until fully dissolved. Do not boil to preserve the alcohol content.
4. Pour into molds
Carefully fill heart-shaped silicone molds using a dropper or spoon (you can always strain to confirm gelatin fully dissolved)
5. chill
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm
6. Enjoy!
Serve chilled for a fun, elevated take on a jello shot.
